Our Deluxe Indoor Presentation flagpole sets are beautiful displays that will bring together any stage, office, or embassy. All of our flags are American made, and sourced, using 200 denier nylon for an eye-catching, beautiful flag. The cord and tassel are made from the same gold rayon as the bullion fringe that borders the nation’s flag. The staff is made of beautiful gold pole that towers at 11’ tall with a diameter of 1-1/8”; the staff is two-piece for easy storage, connected by a machined solid brass screw joint in the middle. Most presentation sets feature a brass staff spear, or also known as a flat spear, with an Endura Floor Stand as well. The stand fits poles with 1-1/8” diameter staff.

Aruba presented its first Staatsreglement (constitution) as an autonomous state within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. By 1954, the Charter of the Kingdom of the Netherlands was established; this provided the framework needed for Aruba to continue relations with the rest of the Kingdom. Unfortunately for Aruba though, this created the Netherland Antilles uniting all of the Dutch colonies in the Caribbean into one administrative body. In 1972, Betico Croes proposed the creation a Dutch Commonwealth of four states: Aruba, the Netherlands, Suriname, and the Netherlands Antilles each of which would have its own nationality. Croes seeking a greater autonomy for Aruba adopted the trappings of an independent state in 1976 with the creation of a national flag and anthem. The flag itself is a symbol of its independence; the horizontal yellow bands represent the solidarity of Aruba while also representing their economies of the past and present; the yellow also symbolizes Aruba’s freedom and separate position it has within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The blue in the flag represents the sea that surrounds the island. Red signifies love and the homage for the indigenous Arubans that dies at Frenchman’s pass while the white in the fimbriation stood for peace and purity of heart that exemplify the Aruban people who strive for justice, order and liberty. While the four-pointed star represents the points of a compass and the different origins of the Aruban population that attracted people from all over the world. The four-pointed star also represents Aruba itself, surrounded by the beautiful blue sea.
